Statement 1.
A muslim from down-town baghdad shifts to a Christian country, lets say Melbourne Australia. He makes his wife cover her head in public, wants public information to be available in arabic, wants the local shops to sell halal food, wants local swimming pools to have days so his wife can swim when no men are there so she will not be seen in a bathing suit by other men, wants the locals to stop having Christian celebrations like Easter and Christmas and wants is to give them holidays for islam religious days.
Do you think this is right?

A Christian Australian shifts to down town baghdad. He wants to buy a beer at the local store, be able to walk down the street with his wife in a bikini, let his wife drive her car with the male neighbour in the passenger seat with no other men in the car, be proud to have a intact penis (not circumcised), be able to buy pork chops, want the locals to stop celebrating ramadan and not say their prayers every few hours.
Is this statement ok?
I am not being racist as I am a first generation in my country but I wonder why it is ok for some cultures to want immigrants to change for them but if people go to their country they must fit in with the locals?
the way I look at it you shift to another country because its better than your old one. So why change the new country to be like your old one? If you go to another country you fit in with THEIR way of lfe and leave the old world behind
Both are wrong. The person is imposing his views on the new country.
