That’s a good diet, though I think you should have a snack between breakfast and lunch – perhaps some nuts or a yogurt or something. I think you need more for dinner too, maybe a small salad on the side would be good.
Also have a glass of milk after dinner (everyone should do this regardless of weight/fitness/diet/etc)
A lot of gyms offer a free personal training session when you start – not all of them, but some do – and they can tell you what would be beneficial and most efficient for you. If your gym doesn’t do this, then make sure you warm up probably – a 5 minute walk on the treadmill and some stretching, and do some strength training (weights, gym balls, etc) for 20 mins max, before going on the treadmill/elliptical/bike for another 30 mins.
On the treadmill/elliptical/bike, if you find it hard to run for long periods you can try what I do:
    1 minute walking/slow
    1 minute running/fast
    1 minute walking/slow
    2 minutes running/fast
    1 minute walking/slow
    3 minutes running/fast
    1 minute walking/slow
    2 minutes running/fast
    1 minute walking /slow
    1 minute running/fast
    1 minute waking/slow
The fitter you get you can add more in the middle (1,1,1,2,1,3,1,4,3,1,2,1,1,1 etc) or cut out some of the walking or add sprinting.
Also, don’t aim for a specific number for a bikini. Everyones bodies are different and you might not have to lose much to be able to wear one! Just go until you feel comfortable :)

i would work out at the gym, but if you’re embarrased start at home with some home exercises. to lose weight you need to burn more calories than you eat, so just remember that(: best workouts for fat loss is cardio. Eat good carbs/fats (fruit, fish) and vegetables. you can always indulge every once in a while. to answer your question, lose as much weight as you want until your comfortable(: good luck

run for long periods, drink water. water helps your metabolism. if you end up doing weights, push yourself with low weights and high reps. I’d say 20lbs.
